Upcoming Retreats

We are a collective of Ceremonialists. Artists. Initiates. Servants and Guides. We have dedicated our lives to raising our consciousness; to study and share knowledge, healing, art and service. We walk this path as students of the Universal Initiatic Tradition, guided by Taino elder, Maestro Manuel Rufino and the Intertribal Altar.
Woven Retreat is a collaboratively created journey intended to guide you into the paradise of your own heart and life mission. Together we will explore the place where ancient spiritual wisdom and creative expression intersect. Each of us has a unique passion and expertise to offer to you as we make a week-long elemental journey of ritual, expression, creativity, purification and awakening.
With the vibrant coast of Guanacaste, Costa Rica as our backdrop, Eco-Resort, Rayos del Sol will be home to this unique and life affirming container. Woven incorporates a vast spectrum of offerings, including ceremonial work, dance, music, sacred art, and reciprocity practices, as well as daily movement, meditation, and cleansing nutrition.
The daily practices are simple and recommended, and each day we will have one or two workshops connected to our collective focus for that day. Working in harmony with the Initiatic Medicine Wheel, our 7-day journey will move through the four elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth, and the three hearts: Heart of the Heavens, Heart of the Earth, and the Heart of Humanity. Among all these amazing offerings will be downtime and space to enjoy the natural beauty of the land, the ocean and waterfalls. This immersion serves as both a retreat and an opportunity to hear and empower your calling in life.
This is an invitation to rest, relax, release, reflect, reconnect, regenerate, renew and recommit.

The Guides

Jerry Walsh
Jerry has been deeply walking the path of dharma and meditation for 16 years and has been a student of the shamanic traditions for over 12 years, undergoing intensive initiations under the guidance of various Native elders, guided by his teacher, Taino elder, Maestro Manuel Rufino. He is a member of the sound meditation ensemble, Dream Seed, and has traveled to over 30 countries on five continents, spending a year studying Buddhism and traditional Himalayan culture in India, Nepal, and Bhutan from 2010-2011. He has spent the last decade supporting and facilitating meditation and healing retreats, sharing music, dharma, spiritual disciplines, and creating community throughout the world.

Ixchel Prisma
Ixchel Prisma is a student and initiate of the intertribal path. She has been guiding healing work for 10 years and is a life-long musician. She has traveled the world studying with traditional healing practitioners and learning cultural arts practices. Ixchel's intention in carrying this healing work forward is to bring the full spectrum vibration of the “Rainbow People” to the global community: honoring and carrying the foundation of the many ancient lineages, while incorporating practices and energies that are both relatable and applicable in the modern world. She is an initiate of the sacred herbs and elements, a trained sound healing practitioner, a songwriter, artist and a mother. It is with deep reverence and honor that she walks this path of leadership and service.
